InstaShow: Installation is a free durational and participatory public art and theatre installation that unfolds over one day. Arriving in the morning, artists with simple materials (recycled newspapers, recycled cardboard, acrylic paint) inhabit, transform, and animate a public space. Over the course of the day, the artists create set pieces/backdrops, puppets, masks, and other items based on a theme that the audience are then invited to interact and play with. The public sees the installation evolve over the day, from a pile of materials into a fully realized immersive environment, igniting imagination and participation.

InstaShow: Installation celebrates community, the chance encounter, creative placemaking, and the transformation of public space. The installation is a barrier-free environment, inviting all to participate and immerse themselves however they choose, and creating memories that remain long after the ephemeral moment has passed.

Come join us for a one-day only event celebrating spontaneity and the moment, play and the joy of creation.
